Luis Pablo is considered one of the top wood carving artists  in Oaxaca.   

This time Luis Pablo created a spectacular scorpion, escorpion, carving. 

This fabulous figure is perfectly carved and magnificently painted. 

Particularly attractive is the color selection Luis chose for this fabulous creature.

This scorpion is certainly one of the finest carvings I have seen. The body of this arthropod, is delicately carved.

Notice the tail and the claws, they are carved and painted with an amazing precision.
